Literary Arts Connection
Amicus Books,
located in Downtown Historic Marysville, is quickly becoming a popular destination point.
Dedicated to fostering the literary arts in Yuba and Sutter Counties, Amicus Books offers
a wide variety of Literary Events.
Monthly Book Clubs and Poetry Readings offer an opportunity for meeting people and sharing
ideas. Throughout the year Amicus Books offers Writer's and Journaling Workshops, Author
Book Signings, and many other literary events. Most events are free of charge and are
sponsored by a community book donation program. Proceeds from book donations are also directed
toward other community programs including Middle Mountain Foundation, Friday Night Live, Yuba
Sutter Regional Arts Council and the Dobbins-Oregon House Fire Auxiliary.
