Usually held on New Years Day at 8:00 am. Slide down the 25' waterslide or take a deep breath and jump into the pool! Everyone receives an "I Survived the Plunge" t-shirt. Be the Oldest, Youngest or Best Dressed Polar Bear and win a prize. Registration required.

Presented by the Appeal Democrat. Usually held the last Sunday of January. The Annual Bridal Splendor will be held in the Main Exhibit Hall at the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds from Noon to 5 p.m.. The largest and finest bridal show held in Yuba, Sutter and Colusa Counties is sure to impress. Join us for numerous exhibitor who will be on hand to make your wedding day the perfect experience for you and your family. The show will include fashion shows, live music just right for your ceremony, and lots of prizes and contests to enter. Admission: $5 adults / Children 12 and under free with a paying adult.
FEBRUARY - All You Can Eat Crab Feed

Held at the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds Main Exhibit Hall. Entry fee gets you all the crab you can eat, with beans, salad and bread. Auction bidding for big prizes.
